Newt makes a single move and readies a shot with his automatic crossbow.
The first creature leans around the corner and fires at Bowen, the boilt bouncing off the barbarian’s chain shirt.
The second creature fires from the darkness, its bolt also striking Bowen’s armor.
Mischa, Bec, Casimir, Bowen and Newt may act.

((Does the light spell expire with Anya, or does it continue unaffected? I'm going to assume it continues.))
Bowen would have run into the darkness. ((I hadn't really taken it into consideration earlier, but given Bowen's past reactions to crossbow bolts from the dark)) Seeing one of his companions fall, he charged after the source of the bolts, disregarding common sense.
He will make an attack (blind and all) the position exactly one square south of where ((D2)) was previously located.

Knowing there is nothing she can do for Anya'drea, Mischa will rise and advance drawing her bow as she does. Mischa moves until she can illuminate the area for her human friends.

Casimir begins to well up at the sign of a fallen comrade. Sadness turns quickly to anger as he follows Bowen to the corner. He will also attempt to attack anything he can sense as he approaches the corner.

Bec will grab the staff, which is hopefully still lit, and close to melee as soon as possible. If it cannot be this round, he will keep moving until he can.

Bowen can advance into the darkness but as he has to slow down he doesn’t make it to the edge of the tress this round. |

Mischa drops her staff, and draws her bow as she hustles forward.
Bec grabs the still glowing staff from Mischa’s hands and
moves forward.
Casimir advances to Bowen.
Bowen moves to the edge of the light, now showing the area around where the creatures stood, and slashes into the darkness, but makes no contact.
Newt hustles to catch up.
Another bolt from the darkness strikes Bowen’s armor, but a second one finds it’s target, and Bowen takes 6 points of damage and suffers 1 point of CON damage as he feels poison rush through his system (FORT save rolled was 5).
Mischa, Bec, Casimir, Bowen and Newt may act.

Mischa will advance to the middle of the wall across from the hall and will fire if she sees the attackers.

Casimir is having a change of heart. he was so caught up in the melee that he forgot his duty to his fallen compatriot. he will double move back to Anya and ascertain if there is anything to do!

Mischa can see the 2 creatures in the shadows. She fires, rolls an 18, and deals 5 points of damage to the second enemy.
Bec gets to the edge of the turn and peers around the corner, but still cannot see the attackers.
Casimir heads back to Mischa but can’t make it to her yet as he has to slow down in the darkness.
(auto-post for Bowen) Bowen hustles ahead to the edge of the light.
Newt advances and fires at the first creature and rolls a 17, but the bolt fails to penetrate the creaure’s skin.
Mischa and Newt see both creatures fire point blank at Bowen and then fall back twenty feet. One small bolt strikes Bowen’s chain shirt (the results would have been different had the barbarian not been on his toes even though attacked by a foe he could not see.) The second bolt strikes Bowen for 4 points of damage.
Mischa, Bec, Casimir, Bowen and Newt may now act.

Mischa will move forward to the spce directlt south eaast of Newt and fire at the enemy she previously hit. Bowen provides soft cover for the wounded creature so I assume Mischa fires at the other; Mischa rolls an 11 and her arrow breaks against the creature’s studded leather armor. |

(auto-post for Bec) Bec continues hustling forward and finally can see the attackers ahead in the shadows.
(auto-post for Casimir) Unfortunately, Casimir sees his light sources moving farther away from him. He hesitantly steps forward until his foot touches Anya’drea’s body, leans down, and drops his sword. Casimir feels about for a pulse but fails to ascertain Anya’drea’s condition (2 rolled on a heal check).
