It would seem we have some dissenting views on how the division of treasure should be handled. I need this to be resolved before we sit down to play, because it's the sort of thing that can get heated and takes away from the business of playing the game, and frankly gets me riled up. So here's what I propose (By the way, this is meta-game. I'm not asking your characters to decide on this - I'm asking the players to decide): Party treasure that is given to a character to use, is essentially, loaned to that character. If a character no longer wishes to use a magic item, then it is up to the party as a group to decide if it is sold or if someone else will benefit from it. If the party decides to sell a magic item, the proceeds are split among all characters. If a character loses equipment, or incurs costs, those should be replaced first before any additional funds are divided among the party. OK? If anyone doesn't like this idea, they are free to come up with one of their own. But this seems fair to me. And I don;t care if your character is chaotic grape by nature, find a way for them to resolve it. Either way, it needs to be decided today.
