I second Candi's votes at this time, plus I'll kick in some gp if needed for the Lyre -- just take what you need. What's the deal with the orchid? Do I know about this? Or did my sieve-like memory just lose it somewhere? J.

I'll bring the drawn out plans for the town thus far, Saturday. Wish I had a scanner.

Jen - there's an old orchid where some of you almost got aced by an assassin vine. It's clear now, figured you'd maybe want to build a home in there.

JUst keep in mind Jason the area we have to work with is only 170'x160' with the tower taking up a 40'x40' area right in the center and the orchard taking up a 60'x60' square in the lower left corner.
The area outside the wall was all heavily forested, and I'm betting that Artaxia might have a small problem with deforestation.

I vote we sell the ring of Water Walking for 7,500gp. I will kick in the remaining 150gp for Jason to make the Lyre. I then vote Jason make the lyre before any building or repairs take place to save 50% of the cost. I vote the Ring of Protection be given to one of the two main characters that does not have one: Brona or Sharial And I will be drawing up plans for a temple/hospital I would like to build in the town. Also don't forget the entire area is hallowed, I cast two so everything inside the walls and even a little outside of the walls is hallowed. So we have a nice undead free town too, not to mention a few other spell effects that are included in that one handy spell. Hi all sheets are already printed and I won't get a chance to make any adjustments. At this late stage, let's handle all of this at the table on Saturday. Chris

Candi - got it all mapped out, based on the map from the Mysterious Tower. Don't you worry none.

I got my maps too, if possible I'd like an area to the North East of the tower for a temple, that way it should never be in te shadow of the tower and should get sun all day long, but I'm not picky if I have to I'll re-hallow and bind a permenant daylight spell too it.
Just hope the neighbors don't complain.

Candi, what size building are you planning on? Each stronghold space is about 20x20.

[11:15] Jason Paschal: Candi, what size building are you planning on? Each stronghold space is about 20x20. [11:32] Rexartur: I have to lok at stronghold builder [11:33] Jason Paschal: I think a small chapel is 1000g [11:35] Jason Paschal: Fancy chapel will be 20x40' and cost 6000 (before any adjustments) [11:40] Rexartur: I was thinking Fancy chapel with adjoining Fancy Workplace (set for healing, a medical center basicly) [11:41] Jason Paschal: I'm willing to throw down, add a small library, study to that. [11:41] Jason Paschal: Bear in mind you can build to the 2nd story with no extra cost. So, if you need rooms upstairs for long-term care, that's no issue. [11:41] Jason Paschal: I'll have to move some of my follower's houses around to get you to the Northeast, but, not really a big deal. [11:42] Rexartur: Why not upgrade to a fancy Library same space requirements, and can hold an extra subject [11:43] Rexartur: with the lyre things are at 50% cost right [11:50] Jason Paschal: 30%. [11:50] Jason Paschal: Basically, 15%, 30% if we succeed at a perform check 18, which I have an expert for. [11:51] Jason Paschal: One of my followers. The stone walls can come down if we have people casting Wall of Stone. [11:51] Jason Paschal: We can get another 3% off if people cast Move Earth. [11:51] Jason Paschal: Stone Walls another 15% off I mean, with Wall of Stone. [11:52] Jason Paschal: I have all my followers building their own homes and businesses, wooden walls. No discount for them, unfortunately, unless they let me use the lute. [12:04] Rexartur: how about the study on the first floor, with the library on the second as both are only 1ss [12:04] Jason Paschal: Sounds good to me. I consider it an investment for the followers. Figure when I bite it, they'll need somethin' else to follow. [12:05] Rexartur: that takes up less space overall at in the footprint [12:05] Rexartur: I'm thinking of leadership at some point as well [12:05] Jason Paschal: I'm trying to keep buildings 10' from the new freestanding walls, so it's not easy for common theives to just jump onto a building. [12:05] Jason Paschal: I'll show you what I got on Saturday, you just let me know how much space you need. [12:06] Rexartur: yep, and Artaixia can double the hit points and hardness of any stone buildings [12:06] Rexartur: I'll draw up an idea for the temple and adjoining medical building [12:07] Jason Paschal: Excellent. Remember you can build down one level, too. Basement for storage, if you need it. [12:07] Rexartur: she's already done it to the tower [12:07] Jason Paschal: Which is actually ideal that you want the NE corner, there's a trapdoor I want protected. [12:07] Rexartur: I would also suggest you have your follower stockpile things in the tunnels under the tower as should the town ever come under attack it's a great area to hold up [12:09] Rexartur: What better place to conceal the trapdoor then in a Temple [12:10] Jason Paschal: Some followers built outside the walls, saving space for the PC's buildings. [12:11] Rexartur: ok, there are areas outside the walls that are hallowed should you have any that wish to stay in that area just say so, it's like a 40' area outside that is hallowed [12:12] Jason Paschal: Should be easy enough. [12:12] Jason Paschal: Gunna post this conversation on the forum, later. ;p [12:15] Jason Paschal: With this Landlord feat, we can expand the dungeon below too. [12:18] Rexartur: very cool [12:22] Jason Paschal: But, yeah. Plenty of space. Gunna have a couple of my followers start taking offers for people that want to build on the land. [12:22] Jason Paschal: But, more immediately, that damn Lyre. [12:22] Jason Paschal: That'll take me 6 days to string together. [12:23] Rexartur: not a problem, as I said we sell the ring o water walk, and I'll toss in the extra 150, and there's your 7,650, for the cost [12:23] Jason Paschal: That's if the party wants to roll that way. It'd be nice, though, because I could build myself a nice lil' house, if that's the case. [12:24] Jason Paschal: I don't see people having an issue with it. [12:24] Jason Paschal: People are mostly clamoring for the ring of protection. [12:26] Rexartur: I don't think the Water Walk will be an issue [12:26] Rexartur: so the lyre sould be all set, the RoP thats another story all together, but whatever [12:30] Jason Paschal: Well, good, that's a load off. [12:34] Jason Paschal: Alright - just get me how much space you plan on taking up, when you can. I'll bring the map on Saturday.

[12:37] Rexartur: you got it [12:38] Jason Paschal: Now, magic question for you. I need a device that lets me talk to my followers over a distance. At least one of them, anyway. I was thinking a permanent Rary's Telepathic Bond, but... [12:38] Jason Paschal: If you have a better idea, lemme know. [12:39] Rexartur: not sure, haven't really looked at that sort of stuff recently, but what your thinking sounds like it might be the way to go [12:40] Jason Paschal: Argh, money galore. [12:42] Rexartur: hehe [12:43] Jason Paschal: But, yeah. With my current level of followers, I've got a thorp, according to the DMG. I think, once we're allowed to build, we're in business. [12:45] Rexartur: yep, and at 12th as I said I'm thinking leadership as well [12:45] Rexartur: then I think we'll have a full fledged village [12:46] Jason Paschal: 12th, Craft Arms/Armor, 15th Craft Construct. I want a robot suit. [12:46] Rexartur: hehe, no robot suit [12:46] Jason Paschal: Aww. I wanna build a hollow Iron Golem. [12:47] Rexartur: no [12:48] Jason Paschal: ;p Long way off anyway. I need some mindslaves first. [12:53] Rexartur: I should add a bedroom to the chapel then I could sleep there rather then taking up space in the tower [12:53] Jason Paschal: It's your chapel. Add as much as you like. We'll knock down walls, build out as it expands. You don't need to build everything at once, mind you. [12:54] Rexartur: wanna guess how much money I have saved, granted saving up for uber armor, but I think a little dipping in will not end the world [12:55] Jason Paschal: sure, shoot. [12:55] Rexartur: over 17k [12:55] Jason Paschal: OK, chapel it is. [12:55] Rexartur: hehe [12:57] Jason Paschal: again, just let me know how many spaces you take up, ground floor. [12:59] Rexartur: just remember Jen and I can cast stone shape and greater stone shape, so that reduces prices of stonework by -5% [13:00] Rexartur: and I can cast air walk [13:00] Rexartur: and jen has wood shape [13:00] Jason Paschal: we should be golden, then. [13:00] Rexartur: and jen has move earth

Maybe a nice little meditation hut where the orchid is would be a nice thing for Artaxia.

Ill go with the lyre and Brona, since Sharial can turn into a Bear, a polar bear no less not only that but a Polar Bear with Dragon scale armor
OHOHOH you know what would be cool, if she turned into a shark and I throw her at our enemies like Uma Thurman did in My Super Ex-Girlfriend. That would be sweet.
And by Sharial I mean Artaxia because I’m a retard and can’t keep your characters straight.
On that note, I would vote for Sharial because she tends to be in the fray with me more then most, unless WB can wear a ring.

I know we both have blonde hair, slings spells, and like kicking butt, but come on just check the pits. No armpit hair here, dude.
