Please do not ever be afraid to call me on a rule you think I got wrong or a mistake I made. While I don;t want to de-rail a game into a discussion of theory or rules-as-written vs rules-as-intended, I do make mistakes. Witness the critical hit that almost laid low poor Chyvor, in which I doubled the attack mod and not the strength damage.

Disease: Onset: Some afflictions have a variable amount of time before they set in. Creatures that come in contact with an affliction with an onset time must make a saving throw immediately. Success means that the affliction is avoided and no further saving throws must be made. Failure means that the creature has contracted the affliction and must begin making additional saves after the onset period has elapsed. The affliction's effect does not occur until after the onset period has elapsed and then only if further saving throws are failed.
Hit point and ability score damage caused by an affliction cannot be healed naturally while the affliction persists.

Dimension Door: If the caster brings other creatures with him when he casts the spell, are the passengers unable to take any other actions until their next turn, or is that just for the caster?
That restriction only applies to the caster.

Resist energy overlaps (and does not stack with) protection from energy. If a character is warded by protection from energy and resist energy, the protection spell absorbs damage until its power is exhausted.
