Jeremey's urgrosh-wielding Dwarven fighter charges a Treant wielding a huge scythe (not know it's a 5th level druid treant) and gets cut in half (critical hit x 4). 96 points of damage later, and jeremy is contemplaying whether he's going to roll a new character or take advantage of Jen's druid's offer of reincarnation. As he does this, Jeremy plays Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt". The first line is "I hurt myself today...." As soon as the mournful lyric pauses, Jason, with perfect Jim Norton-like timing and inflection says, "Didja?" This may have been a "you had to be there" moment, but I seriously considered starting heart meds I was laughing so hard.

Two bugbears committing mutual hari-kiri so as not to have to succumb to lizardfolk Thane's four-poster bed seduction to "Take on Me." I think I peed my pants laughing. Jen

There was this one game I was in, a friend was playing a gnomish bard who had was being tortured by the local evil sheriff (who we later found out was a vampire). Just when the torture was starting the DM's brother turned up the volume on the movie he was watching (Animal House) right at the point where they play the song "Shout".
This caused one of the other players to laugh so hard coke came shooting out of his nose. The rest of us were laughing so hard we couldn't play for the rest of the session.
