Anyone found to be in possession of stolen items from the armory

• first offense: 6 lashes with the cat
  
• second offense: keelhauling
  

Failing a daily task

• failed by 4 or less = a severe verbal reprimand or at worse, a rope bash
  
• failed by 5 or more = 3 lashes
  
• failed by 5 or more, second offense = 6 lashes
  
• failed by 5 or more, third offense = 9 lashes, etc., etc.
  

Refuse to do work or be unable to work

• first offense: 12 lashes
  
• second offense: 12 lashes with the cat
  
• third offense: 12 hours in the sweatbox
  

Attempting to poison the officers = triple keelhauling for the ship's cook and his mate

Murder (killing a crew member regardless of the circumstances) = keelhauling

Late to the morning bell = 3 lashes

Selling or spilling you rum ration

• first offense: 6 lashes
  
• second offense: 6 lashes with the cat
