Chris's company was just bought out about a month ago and he has been out straight at work, including usually working right through lunch. Mix that with the standard Christmas craziness at home and you have one very busy DM.
I believe he is hoping to get things back on the ball after Christmas, as the at home craziness should subside and hopefully his work load will even out.
I know he is sorry for the long down time.
