Bec will take a short sword in case he gets into anymore close fighting. Also, he will remove derro's armors and weapons and put them aside neatly for transport. The same goes for any of Anya's effects that are not taken by the other party members.

Bowen doesn't like the thought of taking Anya's items, but doesn't want the items to go to waste, or worse, be used by the denziens of this place. He takes half of the sunrods. He also places the pearl, wands, and bracers into a pile and gestures to Micha that she should take the items.
((Of course, Newt might also be able to make use of the magical items...))

Casimir will take 2 sunrods as he needs them to see. After everyone has taken what they need, he puts the rest of her gear in her backpack and will take it to her next of kin (if he can find them).

Mischa will take what she can, the pearl, the wands and the bracers and will take the quarterstaff for use, until the items are returned to the family.

Bowen is just shy of being medium encumbered now.

Does she keep her old staff? Does she wear the bracers or just put them in her pack? I left out two unidentified potions and have Miscah taking these as well.

You know from speaking to Anya’drea that she has no family. She had been apprentice to the wizard Nerenethos of Dundraville these past two years, but had no ties to him beyond apprenticeship, and she chose to sever those when she left for adventure.
Left on the ground in the pile are
2 small suits of studded leather armor 2 small short swords 2 small repeating light crossbows Anya’drea’s effects are as follows (please indicate who is taking what): 2 bags of caltrops Scroll case Piece of chalk Inkpen 2 sunrods 6 tindertwigs 29gold, 3 silver, 16 copper pieces Vial of ink Leather armor Sling Backpack Scholar’s outfit (her clothing)
And the three bodies.

Mischa will leave her old staff behind, and if that doesn't get her back down to medium encumberance she will see if someone else can carry the bracers.
"As she had no family, perhaps she would like us to find a poor family who could truly use these few small possesions. Her death need not be a waste, helping those in need, I think she would like that."

Mischa finds that she is carrying 5 lbs. of small crossbow bolts and sets these on the ground.

Casimir takes up Anya’drea’s backpack filled with her effects (save her clothing and what has already been taken). The paladin is sure this is no place to leave a companion to rest for eternity. Bec could take up her limbs and be medium encumbered (but no slower than several other party members) or you could leave her here.
In either case, you only ways forward are either the door across the long corridor from the garden room or a door further up another corridor.
Which way do you go?

Bowen Inclines his head towards the door.

Newt carefully makes his way forward, motioning for the rest of you to stay back. The gnome listens at, and then checks, the door for traps. Turning back t you with a thumbs up gesture, the gnome looks horrified for a moment, then closes his eyes and shakes his head sharply. Squinting, he opens one eye again and appears to be looking all round the area the rest of the party stands. He moves back and explains he thought he saw a monster again, right in the midst of his companions, but chose to gather his wits instead of immediately react as he did last time. He also tells you the door appears to be safe.
What do you do?

Casimir whispers to the group...
"I will go first, but I need a light to help me see!" He makes for the door.

Bowen will activate a sunrod, and hold it in his shield hand like a torch. He will follow just behind Casimir.
