eh, I was just curious, it isn't a big deal, I am happy enough to just be playing, I may sign up for one of the other games going on at some point. If my work schedule lets up a bit, I may be in the arena to DM a LOTR game.

Hrmm, you know what might be even better? If you DM a Dragonlance game (Hint Hint)!

I certainly could, I just don't have access to any of the Dragonlance source material to learn the rules. (hint hint!!)

It would help if you have a bit of a background with the Dragonlance fiction too

I have read one, but the local library doesn't have much in that series, and currently my money is going towards warhammer minis

I will say that from what I have read, the world didn't seem deep enough to run a good campaign in.

Now, sarcasm is a dangerous thing for text based communication. For instance, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic. If you are NOT, then you need to pick up more than just the one book you read, and I suggest you start with the first trilogy: Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning. I'm saying this because there were/are so many DL books written that more than a few are complete junk. Any used bookstore will have DL books for a 2-3 bucks.
However, if you WERE being sarcastic, you are a terrible, terrible person!

Now, Now boys, play nice.
Dragonlance is a very cool setting, very heroic based. If you don't want to be a archetypal hero probably not the best of settings as that is what it really thrives on.
And besides can't blame the man for spending his hard earned cash on Warhammer, instead of adventure books. Why read about epic fights between good and evil when you can wage them.
Do you play 40K as well?

LogazNir, way to go on 'exploding' a goblin!
I read Dragons of the Summer Flame, and just didn't care for it, sorry. The main thing I didn't like was that the characters were too anthropomorphic.
No, I don't play 40k, I like the tighter rules of warhammer, and am not so much a fan of the robots/aliens/laser guns (only when compared to the fantasy warhammer world).
If I could run a campaign in any book series of my choosing, I would pick the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.

That's too bad about DL. I haven't heard of the Chronicles (Is Thomas Covenant the author or part of the title?). One series I would love to see as a campaign would have to be the Recluse series by Modesitt.
Never got into the Warhammers myself, but I did play Gorka-Morka and Space Hulk for a while.
As for Logaz... He has that effect on people. You should try his cooking!

Thomas Covenant is the main character, the author is Stephen Donaldson

Having an Agility of 53 does have it's perks, such as (almost) always going first in combat.
