Having an effective agility of 14 does not have many perks at all. Though having 12 wounds has saved me once so far.

yes, yes it has I am lucky, I have a grand total of 9 or 10 wounds total, I wish that high dex made your harder to hit without using a dodge action under these rules...

I thought we did rather well in our first combat, all things considered.... other thoughts/opinions/comments?? Chris: Will there be a thread where you post expereince gained for the battle?? or will you only give out experience at the end of each 'chapter' of a campaign??

Experience is handled for chapters, episodes or stories, depending on how they've set it up.

I think combat worked well. I'm surprised at how many wounds goblins seem to have, and the damage they are able to hand out. With the right (or wrong) rolls, they could have wiped us out. Still getting a feel for things myself.

What amazes me most is that you aren't able to read/write languages automatically. In all the other game systems I have played, that was a given thing unless your race/class was specifically illiterate.

Combat is very exciting, that much is true. Especially with Konrad, whom has a great combat career, excellent fighting skills, and great strating combat skills. Unfortunately, he has pretty mediocre stats, so each hit is a triumph. Glad we all made it through the fight.

All those in favor of getting LogazNir's blood-spattered face up to the peep hole to give the guardsmen 'the evil eye', raise your hand.
*raises hand*

Always beware of the GM who likes to try and antagonize his players.... I hope louist will forgive me for trying to sacrifice his character on his behalf....

Has anyone ever noticed whenever Konrad goes off on his horse, stuff happens?

Ha! I'm all for throwing Logaz into fights as well. I picture him biting off more than he can chew and falling the a great horde or minor enemies anyways.

We cleverly get in, *then* we start the bonking of the heads.

Poor Konrad. He just wants to be a dashing knight. It's not his fault he's mistaken again and again as a bloodthirsty brigand.
